Welcome to Being Gay is Okay

bgiok is about practical advice and information about homosexuality, and cutting through the stereotypes and negativity around it. bgiok aims to help young people feel better about their sexuality and about the person they are beyond that.

Offering accessible and informative content that tackles the issues that visitors tend to be most concerned about, like coming out, religion and homophobic bullying. Everything here is unique to the site, so you won’t find it anywhere else.

Being gay doesn’t mean that you are a freak or a bad person or that you’ve done something wrong. Being gay doesn’t mean being alone.

Bgiok site is run by Outline in Catalyst, a Surrey based sexuality and gender identity support charity. This website preserves content created by the site founder Jason Mitchell so older content may be of a different style.
