The problem page is not accepting new submissions and bgiok is closing in March 2016. More on that here. Over 100 past problem page entries are still available to read using the buttons below.
About the bgiok problem page
The bgiok problem page is here to offer individually tailored advice to gay, lesbian, bisexual and unsure under twenty-fives.
I'm not a doctor or psychiatrist but I can promise no-nonsense, practical and sympathetic advice from someone who knows where you're coming from.
I've been answering problem page emails on this website since 2000 and have been fortunate enough to receive praise for my advice from other support websites and organisations, parents and friends of gay loved ones and, most importantly, the authors of the problem page emails themselves.
- The Samaritans: Provide emotional support, 24 hours a day, by email and telephone for people in distress.
- Childline: 'Whatever your worry, large or small, we're here to offer advice and support.'
- The Albert Kennedy Trust: Supports young LGBT 16-25 year olds who are made homeless or living in a hostile environment.
- London Lesbian & Gay Switchboard (LLGS): Information, support and referral service for lesbians, gay men, bisexual, trans people and anyone who needs to consider issues around their sexuality.
bgiok is a one-man, non-profit project with all running costs met with my own money. If you find this website useful please consider making a donation using the PayPal button below.
